ASEAN-India International Innovation Award — Jakarta, Indonesia
Representing India among 55 innovators from 11 ASEAN nations, Sh. Ishwar Singh Kundu secured 2nd place — winning a trophy, international certificate, and a $1,000 prize. This was India's moment on the global agricultural innovation stage.
National Innovation Award — Recognized by President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
The National Innovation Foundation (NIF-DST) awarded Krishico's founder the Innovation Award. President Kalam personally appreciated the research and ordered trials in the Rashtrapati Bhavan gardens — which were successful. Products were then purchased for use at the President's residence.
In-Residence Innovator — Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi
Selected as 1 of only 10 innovators in all of India for President Ram Nath Kovind's exclusive In-Residence Programme. Stayed as a special guest at Rashtrapati Bhavan for two days and had a direct conversation with the President, receiving a certificate and memento.
Mahindra & Mahindra National Innovation Competition — ₹44 Lakh Prize
Selected in Mahindra's nationwide innovation competition, Krishico's founder won the largest single cash prize of his journey — ₹44 lakhs — recognizing the commercial and social impact of his Ayurvedic farming technology.
Limca Book of Records — Recognized 4 Times
Achieving a place in the Limca Book of Records once is rare. Krishico's founder has been included four separate times — each entry documenting a different innovation milestone in Ayurvedic agricultural technology, making him one of India's most recorded farm innovators.
Awarded by IFFCO — India's Largest Cooperative Agricultural Organization
IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative) — the world's largest fertilizer cooperative — recognized Krishico's innovation and conducted independent field trials that confirmed up to 47% reduction in per-acre farming costs. Their endorsement carries enormous credibility in the farming community.

From a near-empty field in Haryana to the President's residence — every year brought a new milestone that proved this was never just a business. It was a mission.
The Day Everything Changed
A toxic insecticide leak in his pesticide shop nearly ended Ishwar Singh Kundu's life. He collapsed unconscious, doctors gave him very slim chances of survival. After recovering on Ayurvedic medicine for a year, he made a permanent decision: never work with chemical pesticides again. He returned to his 2.5-acre farm — and the research that would change Indian agriculture began from that very field.
Krishico is Born — KAMAAL-505 Launches
After 8 years of relentless field experiments with Neem, Dhatura, Aak, and classical Ayurvedic herbs, the first version of KAMAAL-505 was ready. Neighboring farmers who tried it were stunned by the results — they called it "Kamaal Hai!" meaning "Wonderful!" — and that name stuck permanently as the product line's identity.
Presidential Recognition — Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
The National Innovation Foundation (NIF-DST) awarded the Innovation Award to Krishico's founder. President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam personally appreciated the research, asked detailed questions, and instructed his special officer Dr. Brahm Singh to provide all possible support. Trials were conducted in the Rashtrapati Bhavan gardens — with excellent results. Products were then purchased for use at the President's official residence.
Limca Book of Records — Documented 4 Separate Times
India's most trusted records book documented Krishico's milestones four separate times across different years — each entry capturing a distinct innovation achievement. This makes the founder one of the rarest individuals from a rural farming background to achieve multiple Limca Book entries for agricultural innovation.
ICAR Abhinav Kisan Puraskar — New Delhi
Awarded by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) — India's apex body for agricultural science — at the prestigious Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Pusa, New Delhi. This award is among the most credible agricultural recognitions any individual farmer-innovator can receive in India, as it comes from the country's top scientific research institution for farming.
Mahindra & Mahindra — ₹44 Lakh Cash Prize
Selected in Mahindra's nationwide innovation competition — one of India's most prestigious corporate recognition programs. Awarded ₹44 lakhs in prize money — the largest single cash prize in the founder's entire journey. This recognition opened doors to wider distribution networks and gave Krishico the credibility and resources to scale its reach across India.
Gujarat Government Honour — Recognized by Sh. Narendra Modi
At an official state function in Jaipur, Sh. Narendra Modi (then serving as Chief Minister of Gujarat) personally honored the founder with a cash award of ₹51,000, a shawl, a citation, and a memento. This recognition highlighted Krishico's impact across state boundaries and its contribution to sustainable agricultural development at a national scale.
2nd Place Internationally — ASEAN-India Innovation Competition, Jakarta
Chosen to represent India at an international innovation competition in Jakarta, Indonesia — competing against 55 innovators from 11 ASEAN countries. Secured 2nd place internationally, winning a trophy, a certificate, and a $1,000 prize. A farmer born in a village of Kaithal, Haryana, made India's name echo in the capital of Indonesia with an innovation rooted in Ayurveda.
Rashtrapati Bhavan In-Residence Innovators' Programme
Selected as one of only 10 innovators from across all of India for President Ram Nath Kovind's exclusive In-Residence Programme for Innovators — run directly by Rashtrapati Bhavan. Stayed as a special guest for two full days on 18–19 March 2019, had a direct face-to-face conversation with the President of India, and was awarded a formal certificate and memento. A once-in-a-lifetime recognition given to fewer than 10 people each year.
